With a PC release date of November 13th creeping up fast, the team at IO Interactive have released a new trailer for latest Hitman game titled ‘How to Hitman, part 1’. With a name like that, we can expect a few more.
Boasting a bigger better larger scale version of the previous Hitman game, fans of the genre will very familiar with the word shown off in the latest video, with the level on display looking like a Formula 1 race track where a driver is your target.
Scale a drainage pipe to slap a guy in the face with a fish after kicking his buddy off the roof? Yep, Agent 47 is back.
If you missed the previous Hitman game from 2016 you can now play 2 full story mode missions for FREE on Steam before you decide if you want to buy the whole thing or just cherry pick episode packs for $6.99 each to get your fill while you wait for Hitman 2.
While we expect the game to be running in an upgraded and tweaked version of the original engine, the increase in scale suggests an increase in the hardware requirements you’ll need to keep a smooth frame rate up in large crowds. Gamescom kicks off next week in Cologne, Germany and a few games have already dropped new trailers just ahead of the show. Alongside Hitman 2, Tropico 6, a new Rainbow Six Siege operator trailer and a handful of indie games came a new Battlefield V trailer titled ‘Devastation of Rotterdam.
We are expecting a lot more of the feature and game-play specifics to be confirmed during the show but the trailer shows off a few snippets in-game footage to give you an idea of the look and feel of the game as well as plenty of montages showing off the planes, tanks, APCs, destruction and scale of the maps.
Right at the very end, a ring of fire is shown engulfing a a village with a tank and soldiers all running towards the middle in what a lot of people are speculating is a teasers for a PUBG’esc battle royal mode to compete with the already official ‘Blackout’ mode of the same vein. Take a look for yourself.
Battlefield V for PC is due out October 19th with an open beta for pre-order’ers kicking off on the 11th. Is your PC ready to crank the settings up to max and dive in? If not, checkout our custom gaming PC range today at our store page to get one delivered to your door.
Quakecon 2018 is underway in Texas and with it came some big announcements from the teams at Bethesda and ID Tech. As well as an extensive Rage 2 game-play trailer the keynote included an announcement that Quake Champions will be permanently free to play and of course a long awaited in-game demo of the long awaited followup to the 2016 Doom remake, Doom Eternal.
From the rather extensive trailer it looks as though the development team are sticking to the fast paced run & gun action with plenty of gore and heavy metal formula of it’s predecessor, with a few refinements and additions. This means if you were a fan of the 2016 game you’ll be in for a treat but you were hoping for a return the slower paced horror / jump scare Doom games like the 2004 release, you might be disappointed. Here is a run down of what we’ve learned so far;
No release date just yet but the game looks pretty far along so hopefully it makes it in time for Christmas this year.
Plenty of new weapons including a shotgun mounted grappling hook to latch on to and propel yourself towards enemies across the environment.
Multiplayer will be a bigger focus than the original and completely developed in house by the primary team.
The game will simultaneous release on all three major consoles (including switch) along side the lead platform PC edition where the Doom legacy started, will offer the highest fidelity graphics and of course where the obviously superior control method of mouse & keyboard is the only way to REALY play the game.
So without further a’do here’s the trailer.
Don’t forget the season of big game releases is fast approaching! Is your gaming rig ready to take on Doom Eternal, Rage 2, Battlefield V, Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Fallout 76, Just Cause 4, Darksides III, Total War Thrones of Britannia, Hitman 2, MechWarrior 5, Escape from Tarkov and much much more? If your answer is no, maybe you should checkout our custom gaming PC range today and make you get your order in quick so we can build, test and deliver to your door before it’s too late!
While very little was revealed in terms of game-play mechanics, release date or even platforms the game is being developed for, it’s been enough to get Fallout fans excited for the full reveal expected next month at E3.
What we do know is that the game is set in 2102 ( the earliest setting of any Fallout game to date ) and that it will be coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One with PC of course being the home of the franchise, it’s biggest play base and Bethesda’s lead development platform.
However speculation is that Fallout 76 will be a major departure from the classic single player story driven RPG Fallout fans are used to with Kotaku news editor Jason Schreier who no doubt has the industry contacts to lend his comments credibility, tweeted “Anyone who spends the next two weeks expecting Fallout: 76 to be a new traditional single-player RPG will be VERY disappointed”.
Battle Royal? MMO? We probably won’t know for sure until June 10th but it’s almost definitely going to be an online focused game of some sort. The rumors that are getting the most steam online seem to be that it will be a open world online survival based game along the line of Rust and DayZ.
Dark, gritty and set in modern day back country Hope County Montana. That pretty much sums up’s the entire teaser trailer Ubisoft dropped today for it’s up coming 5th installment in the FarCry franchise (7th if you count Primal and Blood Dragon).
If your familiar with the first season of True Detective you might get a sense of the themes they are playing in to here and while the trailer reveals very little, it’s enough to get fans excited and chomping at the bit for more details.
At the end of the trailer Ubisoft tease the next trailer release date, the 26th (this Friday) so stay tuned for more details.
So without further ado, take a lot for yourself.
Hopefully ringing a church bell with someones face makes it in to the actual game, and if it does it’s probably pretty safe to say that would be first for video games.
Far Cry titles have a solid reputation for their visual fidelity critically acclaimed for their game play since the original pushed the limits of gamers PCs back in 2004. Sufficed to say we here at the Evatech offices are excited to learn more and eventually get our hands on this! In our opinion, the darker they go the better. It’s 2017 for gods sake, the average age of gamers is up to 31! Lets push the limits of modern video cards and adult themes at the same time, not just blood and gore for the sake of it and some fast pace twitch shooter COD like multiplayer to sell the 14 year old Xbox crowd some DLC and hats.
It might be a while before we get anything in the way of hardware requirements for this particular title but if it’s anything like recent Far Cry releases we would air on the side more GPU power is better and put faith in the developers to actually put all that horsepower to good use come release day. With that in mind, if your looking to order a custom gaming PC for Far Cry 5, check back with us a little later and we’ll be sure to have the requirements listed on our website.
If on the other hand you were looking for a gaming PC today and wanted to make sure it was able to handle Far Cry 5 at high settings when it does get released, shoot us an email or give us a call and we will do our best to guide you through the hardware selection process based on our best guess and big a fat disclaimer up front.

For years the Call of Duty franchise has departed from it’s WW2 roots with both modern and futuristic settings to glee of many but the frustration of fans of the original games.
Time to say goodbye to wall running, lasers, double jumping and jet-packing as today Activision released the first reveal trailer for Call of Duty : WWII developed by Sledgehammer Games hinting a strong emphasis on the European theater and a single player campaign that follows the 1st Infantry Division.
This doesn’t mean multi-player has taken a back seat, every one knows a huge number of COD fans never or barely touch single player opting to jump straight in to multiplayer from day one. In an article on Forbes.com, contributor Erik Kain detailed the four core multiplayer games modes as;
Offering a robust social space dedicated to engagement off the frontlines, Headquarters paves the way for all-new avenues of Multiplayer interaction, recognition and awards unlike anything experienced in the franchise to date. Divisions
A new way to engage in a player’s Multiplayer career — Divisions immerse players in the heroic journey of enlisting in the world’s most historic war. Choose from a variety of Divisions, including Infantry and Armored Divisions. War Mode

While the very successful and critically claimed Destiny from Halo’s Bungee studios was a console excursive, Destiny 2 is making it’s it way to PC this September with a simultaneous cross platform launch.
It is currently unclear if the MMO world player base will be separated by platform or if PC and console players will cohabitate the same servers.
Hopefully, as with the first release, Destiny 2 will have Australian (typically in Sydney) based servers for the region.
All we really have to go by at this point is a few leaked posters and an official announcement trailer.
Stay tuned for more details as they develop. We should get a better idea of system requirements and game-play features closer to launch and a beta will be open to those who pre-order.
As PC gamers it’s always good to be a little concerned with the quality of the ‘port’ of a console game as we’ve all seen instances of it going terribly wrong but coming from a studio with a stellar track record like Bungee we are confident it will be just as good if not better than it’s console counterparts.

The first of 4 planned expansions to EA’s hugely popular Battlefield 1 is right around the corner.
Available March 14th, “They Shall Not Pass” introduces the French army as they defend their homeland on the western front. Four new maps, a new tank, a new elite class, a new stationary weapon and a new tank gun are also added to the fray to mix up the formula with a focus on close quarters combat.
A little later in the year but without a specific launch date announced just yet, In “The Name of the Tsar” is set to introduce the Russians on the freezing snow covered eastern front with “Turning Tides” and “Apocalypse” expansion packs to follow, each with more maps, classes and weapons.
We know there is mixed emotions about publishers like EA and Ubisoft’s post launch paid content updates and expansions. Many people think they are just trying to nickel and dime players with content that should have been in the original release. However considering the amount of content in each expansion and the original release, when it comes to Battlefield 1 and how many hours I already have and inevitably will continue to sink in to it, I personally feel the value proposition is pretty dam good.

The next release in the award winning Civilization series is set to drop on October 21st with developer Firaxis promising there will be no trickled out expansions over time, it’s all included in the base game at launch!
A brand new engine, better AI, extremely ‘mod-friendly’ and a host of new mechanics not yet detailed are just some of the promises designer Ed Beach told gaming news publication RockPaperShotgun.
