Continuing the deluge of gorgeous new first person shooters getting game play video’s released at E3, Arcane studios new Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is set an alt history 1961 America which the Nazi’s have invaded.
BJ returns as the ever bad ass protagonist to do what he does best in this dark, gritty, swastika filled dual gun wielding ‘shoot em up’ with gorgeous graphics, plenty of blood and of course mechanized, flame throwing Nazi’s.
With glowing write ups from everyone who got their hands on the 20 minute game play experience at E3, Wallenstein is now a front runner for the best of E3 and fans of the series should be excited to get their hands on it October 27th. The game will be cross platform but of course for the definitive experience with the best possible visual effects and fidelity, PC is the only place to play!

One of the best critically reviewed games to be released in recent memory, the cyberpunk action stealth single player RPG has been given 8’s and 9’s out of 10 from almost every major gaming review media outlet.
Developed by Hanger 13 and published by 2K games Mafia 3 is only a month away and has been one of the most anticipated titles of the year. Set in mob run 1968 New Orleans the plot follows Vietnam war vet, Anti-hero Lincoln Clay on a brutal revenge tale filled with ‘Intense gun fights, visceral hand-to-hand combat, white knuckle driving’ according to it’s Steam store page.
PC game series don’t get much bigger than Battlefield with some of the highest online player counts and longest lasting communities of any online shooter, consistently, since the release of the Battlefield 1942 in 2002.
Battlefield 1 is the first of the the series to be during WW1, with the same massive environment, high player count, class based shooter mechanics the series has built it’s name on, swapping out it’s sub machine guns and attack helicopters for bayonet charges, mustard gas and biplanes.
Forza Horizon 3 lands September 27 for racing fans, set in an open world rendition of Australia and featuring as many as 350 different vehicles and 12 player free roam multiplayer.
Gears of War 4 drops on October 11 (Windows 10 Exclusive). As long as it’s a decent port, it’s sure to a winner for fans of the franchise.
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, aka COD in space is set for release on November 4th, with zero-G lasers and grappling guns as Call of Duty’s answer to Battlefield’s step back to the 1910’s.
Dishonored 2, (November 11th) a sequel to the critically acclaimed first release back in 2012 drops the old hero Corvo along with the new female playable character Emily in a whole new city, this time loosely modeled after Spain and the south of France.
Watch Dogs 2, (November 15th). The original had soo much promise but fell short in a lot of ways, with middling reviews across the board. Lets hope Ubisoft can build upon what made the original unique while ironing out the bugs and addressing criticisms of the first game at the same time.
The next release in the award winning Civilization series is set to drop on October 21st with developer Firaxis promising there will be no trickled out expansions over time, it’s all included in the base game at launch!
A brand new engine, better AI, extremely ‘mod-friendly’ and a host of new mechanics not yet detailed are just some of the promises designer Ed Beach told gaming news publication RockPaperShotgun.
It’s been a slow month for new release games with nothing but a few early access and indie gems, but soon that will all change with a decent number of blockbuster AAA titles slated for release as we creep closer to Christmas.
For sports fans September kicks off the action with FIFA 16 and NBA 2K16 back to back with the first big blockbuster First Person Shooter following up shortly after in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege in early October. Racing fans get the Need for Speed reboot and The Crew : Wild Run just a few weeks later in November.
As if that wasn’t enough the two biggest titles (arguably) of the year, easily the ones we hear the most feedback and anticipation for from our customers, are set to launch one week after the other in Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront. And in the unlikely even’t you’ll be done with those two blockbusters in 2 weeks, the new Hitman from IO Interactive lands December 6th.
Just yesterday our friends over the PC Gamer.com for their hands on the upcoming survival team based FPS, Killing Floor 2 from Tripwire.
With no official release date announced just yet, with the ramping up of media coverage and now this recent full round of gameplay video, we can only hope it’s not too far away.
No official system requirements have been published either but we do know it’s being built on a modified version of the Unreal 3 engine which means we draw comparisons from the likes of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel , Murdered : Soul Suspect, Bioshock Infinite and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

With a vast array of PC-specific enhancements promised for the long awaited PC port of Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar has released some new screenshots ahead of the April 14th release date.
If the Evatech offices are anything to go by, this is by far the most anticipated release of the year and if the new screenshots are anything to go by, it’s going to be well worth the wait!

Today EA announced it’s next installment in the Battlefield franchise will hit stores March 17th in the US and March 19th in Europe (and probably Australia). The game was originally scheduled for release this year but was delayed shortly after it’s limited beta release, likely to implement feedback and improvements (we hope).
